The ACCESS College Foundation provides an ACCESS Last Dollar Scholarship to selected students who graduate from a public high school in South Hampton Roads and:
File the FAFSA by the priority filing deadline
Graduate with a 2.5 grade point average
Have an unmet financial need
Scholarships are for full-time undergraduate education at a two or four year college or university.
If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible for up to $1,250.
Completed Scholarship Applications and
attachments are due to the ACCESS advisor at your high school by the application deadline.

Entire Student Aid Report
Access Student Release Form (This is the 3rd page of the
Acceptance Letter from college
Financial Aid Award Letter from college
High School Transcript

How to Renew Your ACCESS Last Dollar Scholarship
Follow the instructions and deadlines below to re-apply for the ACCESS Last Dollar Scholarship. For questions about the guidelines or the process, contact the Main Office at (757) 962-6113 or your ACCESS Advisor.
After you have been awarded an ACCESS Last Dollar Scholarship, you must send in your schedule and grades each semester as follows:
At the end of the first semester, you must send a copy of your first semester grades (including your cumulative GPA) and a copy of your second semester class schedule to the ACCESS office. These documents should include your name and social security number. This will serve as certification of your full-time enrollment and will initiate your second semester payment.
During the Winter Break or as soon as possible after January 1,
you need to complete the FAFSA Renewal form. Note: The FAFSA
Renewal must be filed by the priority filing deadline of the college
you are attending in order for you to be eligible for future ACCESS
Last Dollar Scholarships.
At the end of the second semester, you must send a copy of your grades (including your cumulative GPA), a copy of your entire SAR
(Student Aid Report from the FAFSA), a copy of the new Financial
Aid Award Letter from your college and a copy of your upcoming fall
class schedule to the ACCESS office. These documents should include your name and social security number. This will serve as certification of your full-time enrollment and will initiate your next semester payment.
