Describe yourself in three words: Hardworking, Helpful and Persistent
How did you first get involved with ACCESS?
I was working at NSU and one of my colleagues started working with ACCESS. Once she told me what it was about, I was intrigued. Then I met Ms. Cheryl Jones at VASFAA and she was just as funny then as she is now. I kept in touch with her consistently after that meeting. About 2 years later, I was called for an interview and the rest is history. I loved working at NSU, but I felt it was a stronger need for preparing the high school students.
What is your most memorable/rewarding moment working with ACCESS?
When I have a student that doesn't think they can attend college and they attend with a full ride!
What is the most important piece of advice you would give to a college-bound student? Preparation and Time Management
